Director Enriquez underscores harmonized efforts in agricultural services

Department of Agriculture-7’s OIC Regional Executive Director Angel Enriquez has recently underscored the importance of harmonizing efforts in the delivery of agriculture development services.

Enriquez spoke during the conference on rice, corn, high value commercial crops and livestock plans and services in an uptown Cebu City hotel which DA-7 called for local government partners in the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor. The activity was an opportunity for DA-7 and local agriculture agriculture staff of the provinces to share experiences and thresh out issues concerning the implementation of agriculture projects.

The DA OIC Director said that the agriculture workforce in the provinces are valuable partners in the quest for food sufficiency. 
In the same undertaking, OIC Regional Technical Director for Operations Marina Hermoso said that the activity would provide eye openers for planning and implementing agriculture programs and services with LGU partners. (mspt/rafis)
