DA turns over irrigation project in Bohol

Two units of solar powered irrigation system (SPIS) worth P 11.84 million, funded under the Rice Program of the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) were turned over to the Nueva Vida Sur Farmers Association in Carmen, Bohol.


DA7 OIC- Regional Executive Director Joel Elumba, welcomes the participants of the Training for Trainors on Enriching the Lives of Indigenous Peoples through Community Organizing, conducted by the Department of Agriculture Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kabab

Director Elumba, in his speech, said that the IPs should be trained and be involved in the food security agenda and on various agri-fishery developments.
DA 4K-NPMO Assistant Program Director Lucia A. Campomanes, CESO IV, personally handed the Certificate of Appreciation to Director Elumba for sharing his time and support to the said event.

To institute reforms and help improve the delivery of services within the Department of Agriculture (DA) family, the DA-Philippine Rural Development Project-Regional Project Coordinating Office 7 (PRDP RPCO7) I-PLAN Component


A P 10-million worth of trading post, funded under a special fund of the Department of Agriculture through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA-AMAD) will soon rise at Barangay San Jose, Carlos P. Garcia (CPG), Bohol.

The ground breaking and capsule laying of the proposed trading post was led by Department of Agriculture-7 OIC-Regional Executive Director Joel Elumba, Municipal Mayor Hon. Fernando B. Estavilla and Vice Mayor Hon. Wilma C. Dusal.
