2016 Regional Gawad Saka Awarding Ceremony
Some 50 farmers, fisherfolk and organizations were conferred as outstanding agricultural achievers during the recently held Regional Gawad Saka Awarding Ceremony held in Bayfront Hotel Cebu.
The Gawad Saka is an annual search of the Department of Agriculture to give recognition and to take pride in honouring our farmers, fisherfolk and organizations. DA7 pays tribute to these unsung heroes, whose exemplary dedication and hard work to their respective fields in agricultural development are deemed worthy of emulation.
