World Bank consultants visit FMR project in Bohol

As part of the 6th World Bank Implementation Support Mission of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), the Rehabilitation of Del Carmen Weste via Tugas Farm- to-Market Road (FMR) in Balilihan, Bohol was visited earlier today (May 31, 2018) to assess and inspect the status of the project.

The mission visit for the I-BUILD Project was headed by World Bank Task Team Leader Frauke Jungbluth, WB Consultant for the I-BUILD project Mr. Raoul Azanza, consultants from the National Project Coordination Office headed by Deputy Director Cirilo Namoc, from the Visayas Cluster Project Support Office headed by Engr. Albert Barrogo and from the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO7).

The said FMR has a length of 2.84 kilometers with a project cost of around P 27.7 million.

During the project visit, delegates walked the whole stretch of the road network to assess, inspect and monitor the current status of thr project.

The WB consultants were impressed with the on-going rehabilitation, however there were little improvements being recommended on the structures to include drainage crossing, culvert wing wall and slope protection, among others.
