DA7 hosted the National Livestock Program Year-End Assessment Review

DA7 hosted the National Livestock Program Year-End Assessment Review and Planning Workshop on December 2, 2019 in a hotel in Cebu City.

The activity aims to assess the implementation of different programs, projects and activities of the livestock program and attached agencies such as Philippine Carabao Center, National Meat Inspection Service, Agricultural Training Institute, National Dairy Authority and the Bureau of Animal Industry.

DA7 Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulations Joel A. Elumba, in his welcome message stated the importance of unity in addressing the concerns of the livestock industry in the country. "Let's all unite in giving solutions to the challenges we are experiencing to agriculture industry".

The 4-day activity is participated by the representatives of attached agencies, livestock coordinators and planning officers of the different regional field offices of the country.
