Member agencies of the Regional Convergence Initiative for Sustainable Rural Development (RCI-SRD) gather for the 1st Quarter meeting to discuss updates and status on the various initiated projects implemented in the different convergence areas.

Marina Hermoso, Regional Technical Director for Operation of the Department of Agriculture -7 (DA7) presided the meeting and said that discussions to focus on the different interventions already implemented, for implementations and the propose projects in the convergence areas.

Convergence areas in Bohol is the Carood Watershed composed of the municipalities of Anda, Alicia, Candijay, Guindulman, Mabini, Pilar and Ubay, while in Cebu is the BADAM Convergence composed of Badian, Alcoy, Dalaguete, Alegria and Malabuyoc.

Member government agencies in the RCI are DA, Dept. of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and Dept. of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
