During last monday's follow-up meeting, DA7 Director Salvador Diputado said that this plan is in support of Secretary William Dar's Food Resiliency Program. "The mayors, the NIA and Bohol 2nd District Congressman Aris Aumentado all agree on the plan and commit to work as one in achieving the goal," Diputado said.

In attendance of the meeting were Congressman Aris Aumentado (Bohol 2nd District), NIA-7 Regional Manager Wilson Lopez and staff, Danao Mayor Jose Cepedoza, San Miguel Mayor Virgilio Mendez, and Dagohoy Mayor Sofronio Apat, and Congressman Aumentado’s consultants Boy Pernia and Romy Teruel.

The group will soon conduct an ocular inspection of the ricefield and the irrigation area of the province covered under the planned project.
