Farmers selling farm products at the Kadiwa Farmers Market in Il Corso Mall, SRP, Cebu City are now using the Kadiwa agri-cart provided by the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7).

The newly installed agri-cart is designed to facelift the Kadiwa farmers market to attract more buyers.

Dave Amrinto, DA7's Market Development Section Chief said that the agri-cart will improve the ambiance and environment of the display area.

"There's a need to make the display area inside the farmers market so it can attract attention from the people and commuters passing along the South Road Properties (SRP)," said Amrinto.

Amrinto added that there are 10 fruits and vegetables farmers and 3 ornamental growers, all from Cebu City currently displaying at the Kadiwa farmers market.
The Kadiwa farmers market was launched last August 6, 2020. It is open every Thursday to Sunday from 7AM to 6PM. Consumers can buy affordable and fresh agricultural products directly from the farmers of Cebu City.

This project is a partnership between DA7, Il Corso-Filinvest and the Cebu City government.
