DA-RFO7 honors the retiress and awardees
The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office7 honors the retirees and awardees of the agency, today, at a hotel in Cebu City.
In an opening message, DA Assistant Secretary for the Visayas, Salvador Diputado, said that the awards are a symbol of the sacrifice they rendered to God and country. He likewise advised the retirees to spend their retirement benefits wisely.
Regional technical director , Engr. Cirilo Namoc, said that awarded are employees who have served the agency from 20 to 35 years as well as the retirees of the said agency.
All awardees received a plaque of appreciation, a cash prize from the Department of Agriculture Employees Association and a token from the DA RFO7. Depending on the number of years served, the loyalty awardees received either a gold ring or a bracelet.
DA Assistant Secretary for the Visayas, Salvador Diputado with regional technical directors Wilberto Castillo and Engr. Cirilo Namoc handed over the awards to the awardees.
Cited during the ceremony, was the contribution of Marina Viniegas to the successful implementation of the covid 19 protocol in the office.
The event also recognized the winners of the parol making contest of the DA7 in December 2021. Winning the first prize worth P20T is the operations division.
