DA Central Visayas-commended as one of the regions with organized databases

Special Area for Agricultural Development National Program Management Office (SAADNPMO) Information Technology head, Randy Ocampo, commended Central Visayas as one of the regions with organized databases for its SAAD program, in its recent visit to the region.

Segue to the visit is the conduct of orientations in Cebu City and Negros Oriental, slated on April 4-5 and April 6-8,2022, respectively. The activities will expectedly optimize harmonization in the database.

Regional Technical Director for Operations Cirilo Namoc, thanked the NPMO staff for initiating the orientation which is important to assure that inputted data will yield good results that are essential for the possible extension of the program to Phase 2 in 2023-2028.

The activity aims to orient the existing and new information technology officers on the database management flow, verification of projects implemented in the region, cleansing of data based on submitted profiles, fixing the address of the beneficiary, tagging of profiles to their respective projects, and teaching the staff in navigating and uploading images to the database.
Gio Renzo Caballero, SAAD NPMO Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) team, will lead the orientation of the SAAD RPMSO staff in the preparation for the Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation Rapid Appraisal (RBMERA) in Negros Oriental, Siquijor, and Bohol.
