DA7 plans to adopt e-procurement for an efficient database system
The Department of Agriculture plans to use the electronic procurement system (e-ProcSys) in its future transactions. To implement the electronic system, the planning division of the DA7 conducted a four-day training this week to equip the staff involved in the procurement process in the operationalization of the said electronic infrastructure.
Petronila Corpuz, officer-in-charge of the planning division, said that implementing e-ProcSys will enable users to monitor all transactions by using an efficient database system, a hassle-free, real-time generation of reports; organized files for trouble-free automated search and retrieval procedures, and a convenient audit trail system.
The electronic process will be implemented once validation is completed vis-à-vis the office’s stability of internet connectivity, as well as the server’s and user’s capability.
The training which was attended by more than 60 participants will conclude tomorrow at a hotel in Cebu City.
