No false claim: Virgin coconut oil is good for you

The PCA has asked the BAFPS to allow producers of VCO to remove the phrase “no therapeutic claim” from the labels of PCA-certified VCO products.  Results of a PCA-commissioned study show that VCO intake significantly increases good cholesterol in the body.

Thelma Watanabe, Organization for Industrial, Spiritual, and Cultural Advancement (OISCA)Philippinesexecutive director, is selling silk cocoons as beauty products.  She said that cocoons are very effective as moisturizer and exfoliant at the same time.  FIDA data showed that the OISCA which has 150 farmers contributed 80% of the country’s silk production.
